The Log Lopper looks a bit like a large industrial slap stamp for marking really big "F's" on students papers. When in reality it was created as a runic infused item by master woodcrafters and carvers. At first it was merely a way of chopping wood effectively and efficiently at any diameter to be used in crafts. It made the process of cutting off a section of log to turn into a table just that much easier. It was created as a way of chopping down trees, but fell out of favor due to the proximity the logger needed to be to the tree, and the relative unpredictability of the falling tree.
It cuts a object of around two feet or less in a straight line. It does not always have to be wood.
